Contact Priority in De-Dupe: Oldest Record is Parent
- The Oldest Contact Record in your Account Database takes Precedence and is the Parent Record.

Duplicate Donations
Donations De-dupe when Contacts Merge with matching:

Donation Date
If you have Donations to the Same Campaign, Donation Account, $ Amount and Date:
We suggest changing the Date to one Day after the first Date so Donations that are the same amount are not De-Duped.
De-Dupes can be run with 1 Step - Flag & De-Dupe or by 2 Separate Processes so you can review the Duplicate Contacts before they are De-Duped.
1) Flag for Duplicate Contacts across your entire Database
Based on the Exact Data Match type selected below. Only one De-Dupe process can be run at a time.
2) De-Dupe Automatically or Manually after Reviewing the Exact Matches
No data is lost when you De-Dupe or Merge Contacts.
