Email Report Categories
Processed
This event fires when we receive an individual message and prepare it to be delivered. Think of this as the top of the funnel–unless it is dropped (see below), each email message you send will create a processed event.
Delivered
Delivered indicates that the email server attempted to hand off the email to a recipient server and the recipient server accepted the email and gave us a success message.
Open
Opens shows the total number of recipients who opened and viewed an email. Keep in mind that subsequent opens are tracked and will increase the overall total of opens. If a Recipient opens the email more than once, the number of Opens will increase.
Unique Open
Unique Opens shows the unique number of recipients who opened and viewed an email.
Click
Clicks shows the total number of clicks that email recipients made on links in your email. Keep in mind that subsequent clicks are tracked and will increase the overall total of clicks.
Drop
A drop occurs when our email server receives a request to deliver an email to an address, but that address is currently listed on one of the Suppression Lists (which include the Bounce List, Unsubscribe List and Spam Report List). Since sending to these emails can harm your sender reputation, our email server drops the email and doesn't attempt to deliver it.
Bounce
A bounce occurs when our email server tries to deliver an email to a recipient server, but the recipient server then rejects the message. Since having a high bounce rate can harm your sending reputation, it's best to keep this rate low.
Spam Report
A Spam Report occurs when a recipient views your message and explicitly clicks on the "Mark As Spam" within their email service. A high spam report rate can harm your sending reputation, so it's best to keep this rate low.
Unsubscribe
Unsubscribes show the total number of recipients that unsubscribed from your message and the Client / Entity Associated. (Each Campaign has it's own unique Unsubscribes. if a recipient Unsubscribes from "Campaign A" they are not Unsubscribed from "Campaign B.")
